German Haufe Group acquires a majority stake in the Viennese online platform for consulting and coaching

Freiburg, September 6th, 2018 – Haufe Group acquires a majority stake in KLAITON, the unique online platform that uses an intelligent matching mechanism to bring highly qualified consultants and coaches and companies together. The Freiburg-based, family-run company thereby offers their clients the unique possibility to purchase quality-assured coaching and consulting tailored to their needs.

The era of digitalisation and its numerous challenges for people and organisations create a strong demand for consulting and coaching. At the same time, a lack of coherent quality standards and transparency prove difficult to find the right expert. Haufe Group addresses the need of finding the best consultant or coach for a project in a unique way: the online platform KLAITON matches the requirements of a consulting project automatically with the profiles listed on the platform – profiles of experts who met KLAITON’s strict set of quality standards. In order to assure the highest quality, a team of specialists at KLAITON evaluate the chosen profiles, filter out the ideal matches and then forward the profiles to the company – all within 48 hours.

The acquisition of KLAITON is performed by Haufe Akademie which is responsible for qualification and further education within Haufe Group. Holger Schmenger, managing director of Haufe Akademie, will become the third managing director of KLAITON alongside the founders Tina Deutsch and Nikolaus Schmidt. “Intelligent matching of people, companies and tasks in a way that reduces administrative efforts on all sides and creates space for the real issues – together with KLAITON, we want to move in exactly this direction”, says Schmenger.  Tina Deutsch and Nikolaus Schmidt couldn’t agree more, “Our platform offers easy access to what companies sometimes miss the most: qualified expertise.
